BASF Top EmployerMississauga, Ont.-headquartered, BASF has been named as one of Canada’s best employers for diversity 2022 by Forbes. The company ranked 23 out of 150 employers and first in the construction, oil and gas operations, mining, and chemical industry category.

This prestigious award is presented by Forbes and Statista, a global statistics portal and industry ranking provider.

“We have a commitment to our employees and customers to continue building an organization focused on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion,” said Nick Chaffey, head of people for BASF Canada. “We are continuously learning in our journey to foster an inclusive culture for our employees, making BASF an innovative partner for our customers. While we may not have all the answers, this recognition demonstrates our strong dedication to our commitment.”

Canada’s Best Employers for Diversity were selected based on Statista's innovative methodology, guaranteeing unbiased results and providing reliable insights.  Approximately 10,000 professionals working for companies employing at least 500 people in their Canadian operations were surveyed to identify Canada's Best Employers for Diversity. In addition to Diversity Among Top Executives/Board and Diversity Engagement Indicators, the following criteria was taken into consideration:
