SATA Canada Inc. has appointed George Varagic as the new general manager, effective November 1, 2023. He will be taking over for Joern Stoever, who has held the position, in addition to being export sales manager, since September 2022. The company said that Stoever will remain with the company for a few months to ensure a smooth transition.
Varagic has extensive senior management expertise and Canadian industry experience. “He has an MBA from the University of Phoenix and as president and managing director of Mirka Canada, Varagic has built a solid working relationship with many of our partners in the marketplace,” said the company.
