Nicolas Kaufmann Nicolas Kaufmann has been appointed as president of the Americas region for IMCD Group, a distributor of specialty chemicals and ingredients, effective July 1, 2022.

Kaufmann, who joined IMCD Brazil as managing director in 2019, has almost 20 years of international business and management experience. His multicultural career includes the development of new markets in the Americas, successful mergers and acquisitions, business optimisation, and a vast network of global business partners through his work experiences in Germany, Mexico and Brazil.

In his new role, Kaufmann will be responsible for all operating companies within the Americas, with a focus on stimulating growth through the development of supplier partnerships, market expansion, optimising operational excellence and driving the region’s digitization and sustainability goals.

Jordan was recently appointed the new role of COO and member of IMCD’s management board.
