IFS Coatings has renewed its manufacturers Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for each of its architectural grade, performance powder coatings.

The company’s 500FP FEVE powder coatings, IFS 400SD super durable powder coatings, and IFS 300SP standard polyester powder coatings have all achieved a renewed manufacturers EPD.

Glynn Mason, IFS Coatings President, said, “We recognise that environmentally responsible design is increasingly important and we truly believe our architectural range offers architects and designers the environmentally responsible coatings choice without compromising on performance. We are proud to have the scientific data to back this up.”

IFS Coatings' architectural range offers environmental advantages such as no/low VOCs, no toxic compounds, no toxic landfill created in manufacture or application, and the ability to reclaim, recycle and reuse the powder.

“IFS is genuinely committed to being the environmentally responsible choice; we choose not to manufacture liquid coatings for this reason,” said Mason. “Investing in our EPDs has provided us with third party verified scientific information on our architectural products’ environmental credentials and of course proves our commitment to being the environmentally responsible choice.”
