Expanding its presence in the Canadian market, the Protech Group recently acquired MF Paints Inc., a prominent manufacturer and distributor of premium-quality architectural paints and stains based in Laval, Que. Montreal-based Protech has obtained 100 per cent of the shares of MF Paints, continuing its long-term commitment to the Quebec economy.

The acquisition took effect on October 7, 2023, marking a significant milestone for the Protech Group, as it broadens its horizons by expanding into the retail and commercial building paints market. MF Paints Inc. has been a known name in the Canadian paint industry for over 50 years, offering high-quality paints and stains. MF Paints is a household name in the eastern Canadian market, and 100 per cent of its products are manufactured in Laval.
