Burlington, Ont.-based Kontek Process Water Management recently welcomed Andrea Crow as a junior process engineering designer.
Crow has over two years of experience in the aluminum anodizing industry as a process and project engineer. She got her start in the anodizing industry through a co-op in 2019 at Dajcor Aluminum Ltd. in Chatham, Ont., where she won University of Waterloo’s co-op report of the year award for her paper on proper operating conditions for NaOH extrusion die-cleaning baths.
After graduating, Crow returned to Dajcor as a process engineer to redesign its wastewater treatment system.
“I’m thrilled to be a process engineer designer at Kontek, blending my experience and passion to help design wastewater treatment systems and wastewater recovery and reuse systems I’m excited to embark on this new role,” said Crow.
